Savastano, Kaufman & Company, LLC is an established firm that was formed in 1986. The Firm is a member of the New Jersey Society of Certified Public Accountants and both the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Employee Benefit Plan Audit Quality Center of the AICPA. The firm has received our profession's highest honor by obtaining an unqualified peer review of our accounting and auditing practice consistently for over twenty years. This is a program, which is administered by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, dedicated to ensuring that certified public accounting firms comply with the profession's rigorous standards as well as maintain a system of quality control over their accounting and auditing practices. The Firm also has annual inspections of its accounting and auditing practice performed by the profession's experts in order to maintain the highest quality in our accounting and auditing practice. This ensures the Firm's clients are receiving services and financial statements that comply with the ever changing accounting and auditing requirements.

Today, the firm's clients represent nearly all facets of the economic spectrum with operations becoming international in scope. Although the predominance of the firm's clients are located in the Greater Metropolitan Area including the States of New York, New Jersey and Connecticut, clients are also serviced at locations in Pennsylvania, California, Florida, Massachusetts and Michigan. The firm, whose principal office is in Paramus, New Jersey, employs over twenty professional accountants with various levels and diversifications of experience as well as paraprofessional bookkeepers. The Firm's client base is predominately closely held businesses which encompass a multitude of industries, estates and trusts, high net worth individuals, not for profits and employee benefit plans.

The firm is committed to providing prompt, personalized services, effectively and efficiently. To ensure the quality of our services, the firm develops staff personnel who have had the proper educational training for the profession and match their skills and experience to each client's needs. To help client's accomplish this, the firm supports and participates in technical development of all of our professional staff by providing a minimum of forty hours per year of formal education through the use of seminars and client related training programs. While this education satisfies professional requirements, it also allows us to communicate accounting, tax and industry developments to our clients in order to plan and react appropriately to the voluminous changes in both tax regulations and accounting standards.

The Firm's goal is to provide complete, accurate and timely financial and tax information to be used in making sound business decisions and in building wealth for our clients. All engagements are conducted under the direction of a principal in accordance with standards established by the AICPA. The standards of field work are regularly monitored to give personal direction and supervision to all work to ensure quality, efficiency, excellence and results.
